കോവിഡ് മഹാമാരിയുടെ രണ്ടാം തരംഗം അതിരൂക്ഷമായിരിക്കുകയാണ്. ഈ സാഹചര്യത്തില്‍ തിരുവനന്തപുരം നഗരസഭ സര്‍ക്കാരിന്‍റെ കോവിഡ് പ്രതിരോധ പ്രവര്‍ത്തനങ്ങളോടൊപ്പം ചേര്‍ന്ന് പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുകയാണ്. ജനങ്ങളെ ബോധവല്‍ക്കരിക്കുന്നതിനുള്ള മൈക്ക് അനൗണ്‍സ്മെന്‍റ് ജനങ്ങളുടെ പ്രശ്നങ്ങളില്‍ ഇടപെടുന്നതിന് പ്രത്യേക കണ്‍ട്രോള്‍ റൂം, വോളന്‍റിയര്‍മാര്‍ എന്നിവരെ കോര്‍പ്പറേഷന്‍ സജ്ജീകരിച്ചു കഴിഞ്ഞു. ജനങ്ങളുടെ സുരക്ഷയെ മുന്‍നിര്‍ത്തി എല്ലാ ജനങ്ങള്‍ക്കും സൗജന്യമായി വാക്സിന്‍ നല്‍കും എന്ന സര്‍ക്കാരിന്‍റെ പ്രഖ്യാപിത നയത്തോടൊപ്പം നഗരസഭയും അണിചേരുകയാണ്.
